Introduction to MacOSX Tiger 10.4 operating system training course

MacOSX Tiger is Apples latest operating system release, with over 200 new features, improved performance, and some great new built in applications.

Who should attend: This one day course is suitable for those who have upgraded from an earlier system version, or for the complete novice who would like to get to grips with the Mac operating system.

What you will learn: By the end of the course, you will be able to setup and troubleshoot MacOS X, change system preferences, personalize the system to your own style of usage, easily navigate and organize your file system as well as performing common tasks such as setting up the printer, making a network connection, sharing files and much more. You will be given an overview of some of Apple pre-installed applications for work and entertainment.

Prerequisites: Because of the amount of material we cover in class, we do require that students are comfortable with using a mouse, opening and saving files, and the general operations of a computer. While we make every reasonable effort to help, students with insufficient skills may be required to observe the class lessons or do their best to keep up without slowing down the rest of the class.
